Dr. Al-Hosni is the Chairman of the board at IntelligentSpectrum. Also, he is currently the Chief People Officer at the Oman Telecommunications Company, where he has held several positions in the past. He has advised and partnered with multiple boards and management teams to build and scale highly successful companies. Dr. Al Hosni received his B.A. in Management from Seattle Pacific University, and his masters in Human Resource Development and MPA from Indiana State University — Scott College of Business. In 2005 he completed his PhD in Management from Webster University. In 2013, Dr. Al-Hosni won the Gulf Excellence Award in HR.

He brings over 30 years of academic and industrial experience in electrical and electronics engineering, machine learning and AI. His innovations have impacted renewable energy, circuit design and automation, creating value for organizations ranging from heavy industry to smaller scale start-ups. He is currently a consultant for MadaynOman, senior consultant at TÜV SÜD, Oman and chief consultant at the European Business Center in Oman. Previously he worked as an Assistant Professor at Damascus University, where he published several books related to electrical and electronic engineering.

Dr. Al-Yahyai worked as the Numerical Weather Prediction Manager at the Oman Weather Service. While there, he led the national team to develop a numerical tsunami risk assessment model for the Omani coast that resulted in an operational early warning center. Dr. Al-Yahyai ran several international training workshops in cooperation with the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and UNESCO as well as several local training workshops and courses related to data science, data analytics and fourth industrial revolution technologies. In addition, he also led a research team to select the most suitable location for building a space rocket pad in Oman. Dr. Al-Yahyai is a visiting faculty member at Sultan Qaboos University.

His research interests include memory devices, sensors, nanodevice modelling, and circuit design. As well as extend to neural networks, neuromorphic applications, and artificial intelligence. Dr. Al Chawa has authored or co-authored over 40 journal articles and conference papers. He received a dual PhD degree (cum laude) in electronic engineering from the physics department at the Universitat de les Illes Balears, Palma, Spain, and from the department of electronic engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain.
