Drone technology advances rapidly, and only a software-centric solution can keep up. DedroneTracker software, hosted in the cloud or on-premise, uses our DedroneDNA database to recognize and classify RF, WiFi, and non-WiFi drones. DedroneTracker also integrates with 3rd-party sensors, and triggers alerts and countermeasures.
The DedroneSensors RF-160 and RF-360 radio frequency sensors detect and locate drones based on their individual radio signals. The market-leading radio frequency (RF) DedroneSensors receive and analyze these signals and are able not only to reliably detect drones, but also to classify them - i.e. identify the manufacturer and/or model - and locate them.
Radars emit electromagnetic waves and receive and process the echoes reflected by objects, usually to locate them.
Various manufacturers have developed radar systems specifically for the detection of drones. They are integrated into the Dedrone platform as needed to complement the DedroneSensors. Since radars detect objects, but only unreliably automatically classify them as drones, this assessment must be performed by an operator or automatically by PTZ cameras or DedroneSensors in conjunction with the DedroneTracker Software.Radar systems are used in particular by airports and military customers. Since they emit radiation, they are subject to approval and price-intensive to purchase compared to other sensors.
PTZ cameras have a Pan, Tilt, and Zoom function, which allows for the monitoring of a large area in the airspace with a single device. With these specific PTZ functions, small drones can be detected at a great distance. In many cases, a PTZ camera's high-resolution imaging enables security providers to capture visual evidence of a drone's payload, allowing them to prepare for any additional threats posed by the drone.
DedroneTracker software has an intelligent video analysis capability, which detects and locates drones in real-time. The automated tracking feature continuously tracks the drone so that security personnel knows where it is flying in the protected airspace.
DroneDefender® fits the profile for any government organization that needs to protect physical assets, people and information from sUAS attack and intelligence gathering. DroneDefender® jams in the most common frequencies in which drones operate, including the GNSS spectrum, and effectively counters a wide range of COTS UAS.
